contracting herpes

I recently went to a strip club with my friends for my birthday, and I got a private lap dance from a stripper. I did not have sex with this woman in any way however it seems she rubbed her vagina against my scrotum/crotch area somewhat. Recently I have had itchy feelings on my testicles no visible sores or anything like and nothing like I have seen online. In fact i have no idea if the itchy red area is even from this particular incident and I had no opening or cuts on my testicles. Was just wondering if it is still somehow possible to contract herpes.

If there was direct skin to skin contact, then it's technically possible, but very unlikely.  Usually herpes is transmitted by the heat and friction brought upon by sex.  If you notice anything unusual in the genital area, go see a doc right away to be sure.  It might not be a bad idea to get blood tested anyways just to see where you stand.  But I wouldn't worry about this exposure.

It's good to be aware of herpes and be cautious, though.

Happy belated birthday.

BTW, I'm definitely not an expert or anything.  Just a guy who went through a scare a few months back and went a bit crazy reading everything on the subject that I could.  Grace is the real expert here.  Listen to everything she says when she responds.
