You really should get the WB to confirm or at least a biokit hsv2 test if you can. I know there's been some issues with the inhibition assay with some folks ( I know - it should just be easier and more cut and dry ). You need to wait until the 16 week mark though for any further testing.

Thanks for responding. The test was done approx 10 weeks after last having sex. I ommitted in my previous post that they did HSV 2 inhibit Elisa inhibition interpretation and the result of that was positive. is that 100% or should i request western blot to confirm. I should be in the low risk category as I have had only one partner. I saw on another site with Terri where person test negative after testing positive on inhibition test.

your hsv2 igg is very low and needs further confirmation.
How long after last having had sex did you get the blood test done?
