cross contamination

I have hsv 1 genitally.  Last night I accidentally shared the same straw right after a girl who looked like she had a hsv1 orally.  

What is the risk of getting hsv 1 orally if you already have hsv 1 genitally?

Having genital HSV1 gives you significant protection against getting it orally (and, many who have genital HSV1 also have oral HSV1, even if never having symptoms).

In adults, just so you are aware, oral herpes is transmitted by passionate kissing. Sharing a straw, cup or utensil is practically a zero risk for herpes transmission.
