depress

I had unsafe sex with a cws n was punish with herpes. i got my test result today. life is going turn upside down for me. I want to start a family of my own but with herpes i kinda hold back. i dun wan to transmit my disease to anyone n yet it will be so unfair for those to suffer this from me. i m so down..what should i do? i cannot be normal nw although i had thank God for show mercy on me. pls any experienced person can who show me light here?

what testing did you have done that came back as hsv2+?   was it a lesion culture or the blood test? if it was the blood test, please call and get the actual results to post here - e.g. hsv1 igg .45 and hsv2 igg 4.09 or whatever they are. thanks!

Hi Grace. it was a blood test igg. Based on the report shown it would be positive if anyone score above 300 units/ml. and i score way above that with 2362 units/ml.

I'm sorry but I can't help much with your test results. the tests we have here in the US that return with results like that have a very high false positive rate. I recommend looking for a herpes support group in your area and asking them for help with your testing.  I'm really limited in what I can help you with since you aren't in the US. I'd certainly look into additional testing for herpes though.
