my gf and i have been together for a while now and she says that she has never had a cold sore, and about a month ago i did, and she said she didnt have a problem kissing me, so we did, while i had the cold sore. now here it is about a month later and i somehow have recieved another cold sore, she said she didnt mind kissing it, so we have been kissing for 2 days straight, but yesterday, she wanted me to perform oral sex
on her, and i said not until my cold sore goes away, but she said it didnt matter. me not having much knowledge on this, i went ahead and did it. i tried to avoid touching my lips
on her vagina, but im not sure if i did or not. later on, in the same day, about 6 hours later, she said she was having really bad headaches and she says that she has been feeling pretty sick. is this because of the HSV-1 genital, or what? i read somewhere that if someone has oral HSV-1, chances are that they cannot get genital HSV-1, but im not sure if it is 100% true. someone please help. i dont want to be freaking out about nothing or if there is something, i need to say something to her. im not sure yet on any of this, so some help, with FACTS would be really nice. thanks.
At this point ,not much you can do. If she develops an obvious cold sore or an obvious genital sore, she should see her provider promptly for diagnosis and treatment to help speed healing.
