is it normal to have a foul smelling discharge down there,when you have herpes...i shower everyday and it just stinks down there.
herpes came back negative. Still worried because all STD testing came back negative, yet I have/had these symptoms. My partner also had burning in his penus and his tests also came back negative. ODD.. I'm so confused!
I am having the same problem. I had unprotected sex with someone about 3 weeks ago and almost immediately noticed a "different" smell. Then as time went by I had some green odd smelling discharge and was tested for std's. They all came up negative expect the herpes. The results aren't back yet, but I'm assuming that's what it is since all other texts are negative. My dr. did find some lesions inside me that I hadn't noticed and they aren't painful. But, I wonder if having herpes can just upset your bacterial balance in your vaginal area. Don't know.
give them a call monday and ask what your results were. also ask if you were tested for bv - bacterial vaginosis.

no, herpes will not cause an odor.
If you have an odor, you need to go and be seen and get a proper work up done.
