do i have herpes?
Hello all,
This past sunday, i was chilling with this girl, and one thing led to another, i was fingering her. There was no kissing, no oral, vaginal, anal, nothing at all besides fingering. After i left, i washed my hands like 2-3 times. I didnt touch my face or anything as i was fully clothed. On monday i felt something on my lip. Not a pimple, but like a something, i cant explain. I asked my co worker and he said it has a small cut, like i bit it or something. Im not showing any symptoms, but i know sometimes herpes wont. I been worrying about it and i been feeling weird! I been stressing about it and everything i read online, i thought i felt. Not sure its in my head or if its really happening. No cuts on my hands or anything. I found out he has herpes. Not sure what kind as i heard from my bro, which he heard from the girls dad. Like i said, there was absolutely no touching of anything else besides hamd to vagina. I touched nothing besides the faucet to wash my hands, and i didnt touch my face with my hand until like 7-8 hours later. Heres the questions..
How soon will anything show, if anything shows?
What are the chances of me catching herpes?
How soon can i get tested?

Let's say a guy fingers a girl, washes his hands, then masturbates hours later and a day later. If the girl has asymptomatic HSV2, can he contract it?

That's not what life said, he inferred that you did not acquire herpes from the episode you describe. That doesn't mean you do not have a long term oral HSV1 infection like the majority of the population.

Its been a week and some days now. No bumps on penis, or face. I worked myself up over this quite a good bit. Cause myself headaches that last for seconds?

Can the virus traveling inside cause very slight headaches that last for seconds? Or is that stress from worrying? I read headaches can cause outbreaks and be a symptom. Care to shed any light on this?

There's no may be in the clear about it, if your penis didn't touch anything the you do not have genital herpes from this episode. Period.

It is extremely rare for HSV1/2 to pass into your spine. It occurs less than 1/500000 people years. You are far more likely to feel it in your head as headaches if this happens. If this does happen then 90% of the time it is caused by HSV1 and only 10% HSV2.

Zero chance. It is like most viruses, very frail in the elements. It is not biohazard material. Unlikely it lived more than a few seconds on your hand. Washing with soap and water kills and removes most viruses.
No way of getting genital herpes from only fingering? For some reason, i felt a sensation on my genitals that lasted seconds. Used a flashlight to inspect penis, and testicles. Found nothing, or the spot i felt the sensation. Not tingling, or irritation. Just some feeling that mafe me check. No itching, no bumps, or anything. What do you think? Yes a test will calm you down if you need to believe you are negative. This test will need to be 12 weeks from the exposure.

And i had people who had both types of herpes and they told me i dont have the symptoms lol. But still just want the reinsurance. Everyone is different, i may not show symptoms or anything. Without a blood test, you cannot confirm that you don't have oral herpes.
The symptoms you refer to could be any number of things, but they don't sound at all like herpes.
You will not have contracted HSV2 of the finger, even if you have, then this will not impact your sex life as it is not known to be at all infectious in the absence of sores.

Well my bro is in his 30s and his friend is also in his 30s and they have been friends for atleast 10 years. I dont doubt this, but i did not learn if it was oral or genital, i do not want this at all. I do not have oral herpes. I know this already. So all the things i felt have been in my mind? I feel like its been actual pain, and not mind, but then again, i have been stressing a good bit. So whats to say i am that millionith person? People say virtually, or next to impossible, but theres a chance...most likely i will pay the cash to get tested. My sex life is worth more than the bill of the test lol.
