does shingles come back

Hi about a year ago I had shingles on my chest and arms, it went away  but now i have a rash in the groin area, it seems  to be spreading. i walk a lot  and the rash itches so bad. also on one arm it seems to be a spot like  i had with shingles.  My question is does shingles  show up in groin area? I takw a lot of vit c and d can a over dose of vitamins bring on a rash?

Only about 4% of folks who get a shingles episode get a recurrence. It's not very common. You need to go and be seen. If the practioner gives you a visual diagnosis of shingles, point out to them the odds of it reoccuring being so low and ask them to prove it with a culture of the rash for shingles.

You take too much vitamin C and you just pee it out.  Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin which means take too much and you can become toxic. http://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/vitamind.asp  on table 2 it lists how much you can have a day so that you can determine if you are taking too much vit d or not.

Thanks I am new to this. I am Cherokee  My entire life we used natural meds  for everything. my heart doc  wanted me taking 1200mg of vit D  for bone density because I am so active breaking horses and such.
