does this sound like herpes

hey I'm a younger gay male. Sunday night I noticed a rough area of the lateral head of my penis (via touch not sight) and been eying it since. I had a sexual encounter about a week ago in which I briefly received some oral sex and there was mutual masturbation (I believe he touched his penis then touched mine which I try not to allow but he wasn't understanding the concept -_-) .. anyways I cant see much in that area maybe about a mm slightly darker dry area (when manipulated in harsh light)... not sure if im just driving myself crazy but I think it is tingling/burning some as well.. does this sound like herpes? was I at risk for HSV-2? Does this sound like a prodromal stage and things are about to get worse? do I need to get some Acyclovir? I would go to the doctor but it really isnt that bad at all and i'm hoping im just being crazy.... etc etc.

Hi, a rough area on your penis head is not suggestive of herpes and simple genital touching is not how hits passed but needs rubbing to force the virus into the nerve
Your bigger risk is from unprotected oral sex as we are now finding out that those with oral hsv1 can pass it to someone penis from oral sex. And since it sheds about 9-18% of the time, there is a risk.

In most cases an initial herpes infection is not ambiguous and painful lesions result most often involving the shaft as well as the head of the penis (not so often just the penis head).
I think you are ezperiencing a minor dermatitis condition; fungus or simple irritation.
