effective antivirals

Hello I wanted to know what was the most effective way of taking antivirals to reduce the chances of asymptomatic shedding to a future partner. Should it be taken every day or would it work better if taking a larger dose a few hours before sexual intercourse. The condition would be genital hsv1.

you need to take them every single day in order for them to effectively reduce shedding and protect a partner.

just taking them a few hours prior to sex isn't effective at all.
