exposure and symptoms
I received oral sex from CSW.
Day 3 - Pulsing throbbing sensation in the lower right abdomen.
Day 8 - throbbing dull ache in the right testicles with tingling sensation in the penis head. (continued for a week).
week 4 - mild thorbbing dull ache in the right testicles with rare tingling sensation in the penis head.
"I never had sores, lesions in the penis."
week -6 I had a red colored pin head sized bump on right arm and on the stomach with no pain.
week - 7 - I got 2 new blisters in lower lip (I never had this recently for the past 3 years, I have had the same kind of blisters during boyhood days)
week 9 - pin head sized red colored bump started healing and also the blisters in the lips also started healing.
when i posted this symptomps in the forum, i got a reply that these are not symptomps of herpes and i thought it may be coincidence.
when i kept reading the old archive in the forum, i got this thread.
now my school of thoughts are, my symptopms are coincidnece. because already sacreadandtired also got the same symptomps after an exposure to unprotected oral sex.
is this some thing asymptomatic herpes. I just received an oral sex for a minute. i'm not going with symptomps in the internet. i want to get it clarified with you .

no you won't get hsv2 from oral. In theory you could but it sheds so little orally that the odds of transmitting it to a partner are too low to even consider.

i will be doing the test this month end. with that i will rule out the herpes.
i already checked with a urologist.

The Euroimmun test is FDA approved and known to have similar accuracy to HerpeSelect. So you don't need to find a lab that offers the HerpeSelect test specifically - the Euroimmun is fine.
Your igG value is not "high" - anything below the negative range is...well...negative.
If you waited 3-4 months since your last exposure the results are realiable.

the test you had was negative. don't do yourself a disservice by convincing yourself these have to be herpes symptoms. return to your provider as needed to get to the bottom of things.
grace, any idea about the igG value for hsv2 is high, is it increasing as i just completed three months post exposure.

your hsv2 is negative. no real reason to think you have genital herpes at this point.
any further symptoms, be seen promptly for further work up.

I have no idea what herpes testing quest labs offer outside of the US. be sure to ask if you go there for testing. It should be the herpeselect since they own it.

I can't contact on tests outside of the US except for just general comments because I don't know which tests they are using. every test is different as well labs outside of the US often report differently than they do here in the US. the world is a very big place so I just keep up to date on the tests offered here in the US. Even just limiting myself to tests offered in the US isn't very easy. I am a volunteer so limiting what I do is the way I've chosen to handle things. I'd feel awful if I gave someone outside of the US erroneous advice.

yes the herpeselect is a type specific igg blood test.

yesterday i went to my provider to show a tiny pus pilled bump in my inner thigh,
he examined that and said that it is follicular infection.
i asked him to write for herpes blood test.
he prescribed hsv 1 and 2 igG/igM - As i know that igM results are not reliable. i told him.
he said that he can find it from igG results.
if they do the above mentioned test.
shall i consider the test as herpes type-specific igG as it has igG written by the doctor.
when i went to the lab, i asked them to do igG alone NOT igM. the pathologist agreed.
i also told her about the captia test for herpes.she said she is not aware of that.
what they do is herpes antibodies test for type 1 and 2.

at times at repent for the mistake i have done. because i was just about to get married. now i have postponed everything because of this issue.

Herpes spreads by oral, vaginal and anal sex.

Syphilis is an STD that is transmitted by oral, genital and anal sex.
You've had a history of mouth sores in the past. Not sure from your description if it's hsv1 orally going on or not but if you had oral herpes as a boy, you still have it and you can still have recurrences of it even if it's been awhile. These are not new mouth symptoms for you so really no reason to worry about them.
Nothing you've mentioned sounds like genital herpes going on. Hsv1 is the biggest herpes risk from receiving oral sex and if you already have that orally, it's incredibly unlikely that you'd contract it genitally from oral sex later on.
