is it really true about false neg happens when you are in third trimester of pregnancy for hsv tests ? is it only for hsv2 or both hsv 1 and 2 ? .if anyone has any info on that can you please send me the link or anything?....
I've already told you in your prior post on this that you are worried needlessly.
please stop abusing the forum with repeated questions and new posts.
I would never make stuff up here on the forum. all my replies are based on sound science. I certainly do not appreciate you saying I must be making it up on the webmd forum in the post you started there!! It certainly is not a way to get people to continue answering your repeated and unnecessary questions.
the link MIstakeguy gave you if for looking for studies in journals. You have to plug in what you are looking for, look through the studies that come up and read them.
the reason I have been ignoring your question is because you have NO REASON TO BE WORRYING ABOUT THIS! your partner is negative for hsv2. you've had no symptoms. find something else to worry about instead of herpes and enjoy the last month of your pregnancy as you prepare for your new little one to enter the world. continue to follow up with your obgyn if you have further concerns about herpes and the accuracy of your blood test results.
In the future keep all of your questions in a single post. This is covered in our read before posting and also helpful to us. In the future use your other post.
Yes it can happen. You can search PubMed.Gov for studies regarding this.

i was looking for it all night . all my doctor can say is i might have genital herpes even tho i told him about my cold sores. he keeps telling me that i might have it that is why i am so concerned and he keeps telling me " you never know" .i went on the site and i see nothing about 3rd trimester causing false testings, its says that women in third should get tested.
