genital herpes..??

my girlfriend had unprotected sex with a guy last year..and we both got tested for sti's.! now she thinks she might have gotten it from him a long time ago and is worried she might have genital herpes.. and might have passed it on to me.. i had blood work done and tests to see if i had any infections a few months after we met. is it possible that genital herpes didnt show up?? someones please help

you both need to check to see if you were actually tested for herpes or not when you had your testing. it's typically not a part of routine std testing so both of you call and find out and then go from there. if either of you weren't tested, you want to get type specific herpes igg blood testing done to see who has what.

well, I tested negative but then came up positive a year later although I know for a fact that person was infected although the test was negative... I don't know best wishes to you hope everything is ok. I really hope a cure is discovered in this life time.
