genital herpes

I recently noticed a rash on my penis. It doesn't burn or itch, there is no discomfort, other than the fear that I am very worried about what it is. I had protected sex with a girl about 1.5 weeks ago. She performed unprotected oral sex on me. I think she has been with many guys so I wouldn't be surprised if she had some sort of STD despite showing no signs of one.

I have gotten a rash before on my penis but it was clearly due to wearing tight spandex and working out. It was dry skin. I recently was in a cold place for a weekend and didn't wear proper pants, it was often getting very cold in my pants and I was doing a lot of walking. I have looked at many photos and read up on genital herpes. My rash doesn't really look like any of the pictures on line and it is not sensitive. It seems like it could be dryness, it is not raised and it is not wet.

Any idea?

The best thing to do is to go see your provider to find out what is going on. It's most likely a fungal infection but you need professional evaluation to be sure.

Hate it when it gets cold in my pants...   ;)
