, went to the docs for a blood test, it came back neg for hsv2 and anable to determine if i have hsv1, i have never had a cold sore in my mouth but had all the initial symtoms (symptoms) of a ghsv1 outbreak, fever
, feeling of being unwell. the initial ulcer cleared up after a week after taking some medication from the doctor, a week later i had another 2 small ulcers appear near to the site of the first and also cleared up quickly, now 3 weeks later i think i have had another outbreak even though not 100% sure but there seemed to be 2 pin head
type sores appear and then disappear overnight leaving a tiny scab. i thought you were not meant to get multiple outbreaks with ghsv1 and what is the chances of infecting my partner in her genitals? she has had ohsv1 throughout her life
has your partner been tested for hsv2 to know her status?
at this point you need to return to be seen again. Let them know that you are still having symptoms so that they can do additional work up on you. if you have symptoms that are less than 48 hours old, ask for a lesion culture for herpes, not blood testing.

I'm suggesting that you have been blood testing too early and you need seen for your symptoms and if they suspect they are herpes, a lesion culture and typing will give you more accurate answers if done soon enough after symptoms appear.
