getting retested

i got tested 2 weeks after having unprotected test, and i was told that i had HSV type II, since i shouldve waited 3mths should i get tested again in another 2mths?

we can best help you if you post your test results here for me to look at - ie hsv1 igg 5. 6 and hsv2 igg 1. 3 or whatever your results are. Call your clinic and ask them to read them to you and write them down.

It's quite possible that you've had hsv2 since before this and never knew it or this could be a newly acquired infection.
