well you have pain n slite swelling in the groin area.sometimes it hurts to sit...then you get blisters n open soars and when you pee it burns like a mother f er...it last 2 weeks maybe longer...take ibuprofen every 6 hrs for the pain and load your soars up with petroleum jelly so when you pee or poo it dont run in the open soars.it coats it...when you walk the friction also will be very painful so the jelly helps there...after a while the pain slowly goes away and you'll itch real bad....it really really sucks..good luck
do you know if most peoples symptoms are the same? just wondering if herpes symptoms are all alike. i have no groin swelling, it doesnt hurt when i pee. and, it only last about 3-4 days. have you tried any of those advertised cures that claim they rid you of herpes?
Intense itching followed by redness then swelling, around this point it starts to hurt to pee. Then follow the blisters. Ibuprofen is good and coconut oil applied to the area, similar effect as protroleum jelly. Also to help with the discomfort apply a cool pack. Keep the area clean and wear loose breathable clothing. Symptoms vary from person to person. Is this a confirmed diagnosis? How long has this been happening? Have you noticed any triggers? Good luck!
if you have an odor, you need to be seen and properly tested for vaginal infections. herpes will not cause you to have an odor like you have described.
Also hsv1 genitally tends not to reoccur very often so it's well worth additional follow up in general for your symptoms. Just because you know you have hsv1 genitally, doesn't mean that it's the cause of everything that goes on in your genital area.
this happens to me everytime i have sex, like regular sex that 2 people have in bed when we get a chance to have fun with no childrenm not quickies. i have a confirmed diagnosis of hsv-1, blood test, but no culture on lesions. i usually get 1 or 2 blisters insame spot that only last about 3 days. after doind some research, i think i have a cyst, maybe bartholin cyst, that occurs at the same time, and ruptures on its own after 3 or 4 days, causing the odor. after it ruptures, the itching and blisters disappear with it. i would love to talk to my doctor, but hav had a standing appointment since november, appointment is january 18. so, i'm doing a bunch of research, trying to find out what may be common things to happen to that i am not alarmed.. thanks for your help! really. its a blessing.
i may have a cyst that develops withthe outbreak. i will ask my doctor when i see him next month. internet research says a cyst usually comes with herpes, it usually reuptures on its own and causes a yellowish discharge. this is what is happening to me. odd, when the cyst disappears, so does my vaginal discomfort. when it ruptures, it smells. it only stays about 3 or 4 days, then i'm fine. have you heard of this happening before? internet says its rare, but its not uncommon. i have found that doctors dont always know everything, if its rare, i need to be sure he knows during my appointment. thanks grace. really, your information is useful and comforting.
