is it possible to get genital herpes from kissing someone? and also if you have oral herpes can you get it on your genitals without any sexual contact? and also if there was some way of transferring oral herpes to your genitals, does that mean you no longer have oral herpes, or do you now have both?

Once you have oral herpes, you always have oral herpes. Once you have genital herpes, you always have genital herpes. Yes, a person can have it both orally and genitally. Transmitting your own oral herpes to your genitals (called autoinoculation), is very rare.

Did you read the link I posted in your other post? We'll help but do your part as well as to become educated about the basics of herpes. And in the end, if you want to know your own herpes status, you can get tested.
