herpes, ingrown hair, cyst..what is it?

i tend to get ingrown hairs very easily but i currently have a painful bump on my outside labia. i didn't have an ingrown hair there before but one day this bump appeared and its slightly red and swollen. i've only had this bump for 3 days or so and i've tried multiple times to look for an ingrown hair to pull but i can't find one at all. it has popped a little with some white stuff but mostly clear or kind of bloody. when i popped it today there looked like another white bump inside the bigger one? i couldn't tell exactly what it was... i have been feeling under the weather a bit the past 2 or 3 weeks but i've just been busy with little sleep so i contributed it to just picking up a sickness from school. i had a slight fever at the beginning of the sickness but not much since with a little bit swollen lymphnodes between...i'm worried because i know those can be signs of herpes but the only person i've had sex without a condom with was my boyfriend and we both had been tested and we never had sex even if i had an ingrown hair (which i assumed would b like an open wound)

i tried to give all details so someone could maybe help me.. i could go to the student health center but i just feel embarrassed.. a little insight would be great to make me feel a little more at ease with it.. i know i should go regardless and i will but let me hear what you think!

since you've popped this a few times now, going to be hard to get an accurate diagnosis.  

going to be seen is the best course of action to get more accurate answers at this point.
