herpes

I did some tests for Herpes Type 2 and got back the following resluts herpes 2 IGM 0.79 and herpes 2 IGG 1.20. what does this mean please?

to be honest i would love to know what that means but i dont kno.....im also suppose to be getting my test results tomorrow for herpes too and iam nervous as hell i just hope i dont have herpes

this is why we recommend the 1 post here on the board. This is the 3rd post I've read of yours this morning and this information would've been helpful in the other one where you posted the most info. Let's just keep to the other post and you can repost your test results there.

If a child has herpes in their eyes, does that mean that it was caught when the mother gave vaginal birth?

From my research on line you can't give herpes through birth.  The child has to get herpes from direct contact after birth.

And supposedly any thing greater than 1.1 in IGG test means positive.
