herpes and hiv

i tested positive for herpes on 23rd march 2015 and before that i tested negative for hiv 7 times in past six months with a duo test.below are my questions

Does herpes test detect hiv?is there any cross reaction between hiv antibodies and hsv antibodies? afterr all they both are antibodies so the hsv elisa accidently picked up hiv antibodies is this possible?

Hi, hiv and hsv are not related. No way to mix up the antibodies.

so you mean to say that there is is no cross reaction between two antibodies?
