is too thick for the virus to shed from. when he has active lesions he should cover them, otherwise it's not an issue as far as picking up his lil girl.
whitlow tends not to reoccur very often. I assume he had the lesions on his hands
cultured and they were + for herpes and not just a visual diagnosis of herpes on his hands? if he is having frequent recurrences, he can consider daily suppressive therapy to reduce them.
yes, he has scratched the palms of his hand to a point of them being opened, and yes he and his wife have had test and they were positive.
She just gave birth to their second child a beautiful little boy just this Sunday.
The Doctors talked about maybe doing a C section if their were any breakouts.
But she was able to deliver naturally. I am worried for the children and for them.
My son is a stay home Dad. I am very proud of him for the care and love he gives to them and for her she is a hard worker, I love her as if she is truly my little girl.
I don't know how much they understanding of what Herpes is, they both are very immature for their ages. I know I don't know much about it myself .
I thought you only get it by sex.
I am now starting to learn that you can catch it in other ways, and I'm not sure what they all are and what danger there is for them and their beautiful children my grand babies.
Any information anyone can help me find would so much be deeply appreciated
