herpes or not?

Ok, I had the full blown STD blood test done a few months ago.  My Dr. said I was negative in everything, but he did see that I probably had herpes (cold sore) years ago.  But he did say I was negative.  I've been taking an antibiotic for a few years to clear acne.  Could the antibiotic have a negative affect on my herpes test?

I sometimes get little pimples right in between my lip and nose, is this probably just acne or can this be herpes?  Does the sore/pimple have to be on the lip?

antibiotics will not affect herpes blood tests.

I'm assuming that you had a hsv1+ blood test but you'd have to get a copy of your test results and post them here for me to better help you - ie hsv1 igg 5. 8 and hsv2 igg 2. 2 or whatever they are.
