felt raw and itchy with dryness around the rim. i freaked out and spent hours reading online about what it could be. a month after the first girl and 2 weeks after the initial rawness, itch etc. i got a blood test that came back negative. i was elated and ready to get on with my life. fast forward 2 months later and after a day of rough sex
(5x's penetration and 1 time oral) i started to feel raw and itchy again, which i was fine with until the next day when little red bumps started showing up on the head
(uncircumcised). there where probably 10-15 of them and they were raised with a little white head. 2 days after that i went to the doctor and they had already disapreared. he said it was probably nothing but friction. 1 day after that i noticed the bumps coming back(i hadn't touched it sexually for a few days). 4 on the head(sort of clusterd but not touching...in a patch?) and 4 on the rim. they don't inch and they never get bigger or fill with pus. there is a slight tingle every now and then when i think about it though. im freaking out big time...could it be herpes? i feel like it is but that could just be cause im worrying about it. some advice/help PLEASE!
This sounds more like something else going on like fungal infections or even irritation as your provider said.
You need to err on the side of caution and repeat your herpes blood test a few months after you last had sex but meanwhile continue to follow up on this with your provider for non-std reasons. If the sex you had was unprotected, cover your bases for other std testing too.
Thanks grace, i'll follow up with him pronto. As for it being a fungal infection. Would that have anything to do with it being moist all time. i clean it with bar soap in the shower and then towel dry it every day but any time i go to the bathroom it's like it has a thin layer of, i don't know, just moistness on it that i dap off...like it's sweating...with no heat. and the bumps come up for a day, go down, and new ones appear a day later. they never get bigger than what they came up as. I'm looking for some things to bring up so when I go in I can have something to say to my provider that may make him take a little more time on what's going on with me so i don't have to keep on going back when it's not the 1 cause that I or he thinks it is. i can't afford that. thanks for taking the time to respond so quickly.
hey grace, thanks for the info. I woke up this morning and the bumps, slight tingle(although coming and going was the only kinda of constant the last 7 days) and slight wetness are just...gone. I don't know what this means. It's like nothing happened. Should I take it as my body healed from friction trauma or i just finished an outbreak? i know that outbreaks vary from person to person but over the last few days the lesions have come and gone in different places every other day or so never really changing from little raised white heads then going down in 30ish hours only to have new ones pop up somewhere else. nothing popped and crusted over ever. nothing filled with pus. now it's gone...I don't no what to think/do. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks
