herpes realated to cmv???

OK WELL I HAD A TEST BACK  IN APRIL 08 WITH A TEST OF HERPES VIRUS 1 IGG DETECTED AND IGM NEGATIVE OK SO NOW I GOT TESTED FOR CMV IN SEPTEMBER 08 TEST RESULTS CAME BACK POSITIVE CMV IGG AND IGM  DETECTED  I AM 15 WEEKS PREGNANT AND I AM 100% HAVING THIS BABY NO DOUBT.I AM REALLY WORRIED THOU BECAUSE ALL I GET BACK IS THAT HERPES AND CMV ARE  REALATED INFECTIONS I HAVE A QUESTION???

1 ARE THEY BOTH THE SAME JUST AS BOTH HAVE COME UP DIFFERENT NAMES??

2 WHATS THE POSSABILTY OF HAVING MY BABY WITH A DEFECT BECAUSE OF THESE VIRUS?

3. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW I GOT BOTH VIRUS BUT I HAVE A CLUE SHARING OF LIPGLOSS WITH MY MATE
BUT NOT SURE IF SHE HAD THE VIRUS ?

4 COULD MY HUSBAND AND CHILD OF 5  HAVE IT NOW THAT I AM INFECTED?

PLEASE HELP GIVE ME AS MUCH INFORMATION I NEED IT!!

As you already read in the other post you posted to, cmv and hsv are completely different viruses.

My  recommendation is that you call your obgyn today and talk about this. Your test results show that this isn't an active infection but one you had prior to this so it's not a big deal but I think you need to talk with them and let them know about your concerns.
