herpes reinfection
I am extremely anxious. i had unprotected sex a couple weeks ago with someone who, like myself, has herpese. We both don't know which strain we have. However, a week later i started getting the same symptoms which i got when i first got herpes with the exception of fever.(joint and muscle pain all over, headaches, slight soar throat, slight fatigue) Could this be a reinfection cuz am supposed to have antibodies for this already or something else? am worried it cud be HIV.
you should find out what type you have. that will help you a lot in future too. and it would help to find out what type your partner has too
Also now that most of the symptoms have subcided am getin outbreaks a bit more frequent and severe i think.
