I just got tested for STD's and the result was 1.59 for the HSV Type 2-specific Ab, IgG HSV 2 IgG, Type Spec.
My Doc said it's not positive or negative....so how do I know how to handle this..he wants to test again in a couple of weeks....when do you actually know what you've got??Or what tell tell a lover???? What number is the one that really means something?
That's a positive result but since it's a low positive, it's best to be confirmed with additional testing. Until proven otherwise though assume you have it and take precautions with any partners you have ( if you have a regularRegular insulin partner, they need tested too ).
How long ago did you last have sex before being tested?
