i have read that typically those people that have herpes and have outbreaks having shedding 7 days before and 7 days after the outbreak heals. does this mean the 7 days starts at after scabbing is done or does it start when white puss bubbles leave and redness occurs...which would be before scabbing.. because it seems to me that it wouldnt be 7 days after scabbing , you could have a scab for long period of time. and what happens if scab comes off and there is pinkness for long while and there is no scab coming back, is that just discoloration from scarring, skin irritation , new skin, or viral shedding, i have had the pinkness for several weeks after the scab came off so im thinking its not viral shedding i guess im just confused about the healing process along with scabbing and pinkness in relation to the 7 days of typical shedding after "outbreak has healed" becasuse that sounds very general and doeswnt even say what or when healing is or means
There's nothing specific like 7 days before an ob. for some folks it's a few hours before the ob appears, for others it's a day or two. Same with shedding after an ob - it's hit or miss and not nearly so cut
how do u know when an ob has healed? is it after the puss bubbles go away or when scabbing is complete? what if the scabs come off and then never really have a chance to form new scabs and you have the fresh skin there than is missing the top layer and its red/pink. is that scarring or from agitating the area and does it leave a partner more suscpetible to getting it since the scabs fell off and new one isnt forming and you have that area with the fresh healed skin but without the layer of skin that the scab would have made over it to seal it up, will it eventually work itself out and form that layer or skin or get scar
