Yes you can. There are two types I and II. Herpes one is the fastest and most common way to speard Herpes II. Herpes II is found in and around a vagina, annul, or penis. Herpes I is what people call cold sores of the mouth. Only way it can be diagnosed positive is if you are having an outbreak. You can also get it from a carrier, someone that does not show signs of an outbreak. 1 in 4 people are diagnosed positive and those are some scary statistics. Becareful in your research there are always alot of myths that come with STDs. And if you find out you have it don't get mad at you partner because they might not know they have it or you got it from someone else and it just now desided to breakout.
