herpes?

Well to start out, be gentle on me. I'm a 30 yr old male who has always been a bit of a reckless "playboy". Things have been stressful lately and I used sex to alleviate/distract me from the stressors. I had a week of high risk Hetero activity, which at the end I felt quite ashamed of.

I shaved  my entire genital area on 4/29/15, I hastily shaved with a razor which has been used on my face.  I immediately went to the gym and had a strenuous workout. I then showered and had protected sex.

4/30/15 I had rigorous unprotected sex with my landlord.  I noticed when she orgasmed she had a normal looking discharge. I observed no sores or blisters

5/1/15, have unexpected unprotected sex with waitress/bartender I had been talking to for a couple of weeks. In the heat of the moment as she was on top she stated she was allergic to condoms. Observed no sores or blisters. No discharge or foul odors.

Upon waking up I was unable to shower and had to go to work, where I sweated in all my gear.

5/4/15 I again have sex with Landlord (5:30 pm) and I immediately notice upon first few strokes of vaginal penetration a thick, white discharge was all over the shaft and base of my penis. I had never seen a discharge that appeared without orgasm and was so prominent. I was pretty freaked out. Upon finishing, I went to the bathroom and wiped my penis off with a rag.  Later that evening I masturbate (11:30 pm) and my penis is sore on the right side near my base of my shaft in the area where there is still hair. It's a little red and tender. I go to sleep.

5/5/15 still red, tender and is slightly swollen on right side near base/shaft (9:00 am). Mid-afternoon (5:30 pm) spot pretty red, pretty swollen, I'd estimate raised up over a 1/4 inch. The swollen area was over 1" by 1", from the very base of my penis to slightly above where the hairline is on my limp shaft.  There are no blisters, lesions. I check area probably ever hour to two, as my anxiety is rising. I then think I saw skin/slightly red bumps forming on left side of penis. Convince myself I am going to die. Apply AD ointment over night to entire genital area, apply second coat for good measure. Hadn't seen anything I could identify as an ingrown hair.

5/6/15, wake up wipe off genitals observe swelling slightly decreased, no sores/lwsions/blisters on right side however, now swelling/redness below shaft and on scrotum. Observe definitely red/skin colored circles on left side of penis extending from base to below circumcision area on shaft. Consult with hippie friend on what I'm sure must be leprosy, recommends putting Apple Cider Vinegar on it. "Cures everything, it's all natural bro!" Hippie believed maybe genital warts, I of course Google for hours. Convince myself the swelling and red bumps im seeing must be genital warts. 8:30, no sores/lesions still pretty much same as upon waking up. Bought anti-fungal cream because Google said it might be fungal infection. Cream does not solve problem within an hour so (9:30) I apply Apple Cider Vinegar to cotton balls and tape to each affected area. I leave on for approximately 2 hrs.

(11:30 pm) remove the cotton balls because it's burning me. Observe the 1"X1" area is raised and whitish gray, area affected on balls is white/gray. The red dots on left are same color. Self diagnosis as genital warts. Continue to google, then convince myself it must be herpes.

5/7/15 - reapply ACV several times for 30 minute increments. By (11:30 pm) areas previously described began to form light scabs. Convince myself it must be herpes.

5/8/15 - final treatment of ACV late that night.

5/9/15 - areas scabbed over.
5/10/15- scabs fall off by 11:59 pm
Now my penis is healing up, and the new pink skin is there.

Obviously kicking myself for sexual encounters. contemplating life of celibacy now, so I understand all criticism for my poor choices.

I then regretted applying the ACV about 48 hrs after I started feeling funny down there. Would I have seen lesions or sores by then? What if those red dots I was looking at were blisters? Did I not give enough time for blisters to even form? What would ACV even do to Herpes? Did the ACV just speed up the process of Herpes?

I'm just freaked out right now, wish I would've just gone right in and got it looked at. Now I know it's too late to get a culture done because everything's healing up.

Would love to hear a doctors thoughts on my symptoms.

Hi, what your describing does not appear as a herpes outbreak but  more a reaction to all the home treatments esp the apple cider. Gential herpes sores are most often painful, esp a first time outbreak. They are described as  blister type sores or razor type cuts that open and spread it to the immediate surrounding area in  cluster type grouping.
Have the area swabbed and a blood test to confirm if you have herpes.

First off unless you don't have insurance and care about your junk. I have to ask the question why haven't you gone to see the Doc, or gone to the clicnic by now? That would have cleared up most of the questions that your asking. 2nd if you have done your homework & by homework gotten blood tested for all STD/STI & required that your partners do the same. Then I recommend it's time bro. 3rd have you checked in with your partners to address your concerns or to see if they are alright? Remember we're all adults her and understand that if your not the primary partner that thier is always some risk involved condom or no condom. And lastly you only have one life to live and if your Ok with the risk that your taking then don't be surprised if it ends up being a short one. I hope that I wasn't too harsh, and I truly hope that your fine, but please get checked out before your next encounter. I'm hoping that your not the type to just stick his head in the sand hope for best. Good luck and hope to hear some some good news on your results.

Forgot to put - no fever as I checked regularly. No swelling of lymph nodes or any glands. No painful urination.  On 5/8/15 when I woke up I thought I felt pain when I would swallow like strep was coming, however it was gone by 5/9/15. 5/10/15 lower back started feeling stiff, however had done deadlifts on 5/8/15.
