herpes?

prevention? medications ? Valtrex / famvir / acyclovir / what do I use? what is the difference or best to use with out spending millions? How long do I use? Do I stop using if i have no symptoms? the thing I dont understand is how does my partner not have these signs. If I got them after heavy sex what is a good answer. She has been tested one month ago for everything. ?? And has never had this problem. Did I get this from a bath room or someone else and how. I am not around other people a lot. what do I do. I am contimplating to go to a doctor but need med's right now. my glands on the side of my penis are big and hurting me really bad. What of these three types of meds should I take and for how long. I don't know what to do.

I went over some of the basic differences in the medications in your prior post.  The herpes handbook is another good resource to learn more about them as is the ashastd.org website and even the websites for each of the medications.  You need to decide if you want to take suppressive therapy or episodic therapy - the handbook goes into the differences in that too.

How was your partner tested a month ago?  Was she specifically tested for herpes?

You need to go see your doctor if you are in pain and haven't been formally diagnosed as having herpes.
