if you have new symptoms, you should be seen promptly for further evaluation.

Since my posting this morning.  I have several blisters on my left thigh and have several up on my side (flank area).  I still continue the valtrex 1gram BID.  Have been so stressed out these 40+ days that I don't feel like eating. Haven't lost my appetite, just feel hopless.  I read also stress is not a factor? so confused..This outbreak is the worst since this nightmare had begun. :((

I seen the oral pathologist today. My mouth ulcers had cleared up and he wasn't to concern with them.  When I told him I have had no relief of the gential herpe outbreaks even thoough on daily  valtrex he was concerned.

My next stop is at my gyno but can not seem him for two weeks. He (pathologist) said it could be from something as simple as yeast infection(I had taken several Diflucan for my mouth) but would not comment much more. In my reach search it always goes back to HIV.  I know the sure thing is to be tested. If i had contracted HIV when I got the herpes would it act that fast, with the continue outbreak of herpes? Since my first outbreak, that won't end. I don't sleep, highly stressed and cry all the time.  The stress is wearing me down.

I also read that people have had outbreaks for several months but did not have HIV.?  It also feels like I am gettig shingles because my waistline sting all the time but have not seen any blisters. i thought the valtrex is keeping it from breaking out. again this also points to HIV with herpes.

the herpes testing you had done was the wrong testing. you had non-type specific testing done which tells you nothing about your herpes status.

if you last had sex in september, you need to wait at least 3 months post encounter to seek out type specific herpes igg blood testing.

far too late now for oral testing for herpes.

The test results read HSV 1/II IGG  23.2  I seen an obgyn for this test. Went to a FMD which perscribed the nystatin and the continuation of the valtrex.  I also went an seen my family dentist yesterday and said I did have signs of herpies and the yeast was clearing up. I am to continue the magic mouth wash for the discomfort.  He also said the stress was causing some of the ulcers.  He is referring me to a oral pathologist for further testing.

I can come to grips with having the herpies but I am afraid I have contracted HIV.  I was going to do the home test but he said i would have a chance of getting a false pos. d/t my lupus.  I would have contrated all of this from one person on Sept. 1 2012.

Maybe when I see the pathologist I will have the testing done and what ever it shows I will have to deal with it.  I tried talking to the guy about it but he denies of ever having anything.  I thought about puchasing a test and have him complete one on him.

if you can get the actual test results to post here, I can better help you - e.g. hsv1 igg 6.98 and hsv2 igg .33 or whatever they are is all you need to post.

your oral symptoms don't sound like herpes going on.  having oral fungal infections makes it more likely you have a genital yeast issue too. have you seen more than just a general practitioner at this point for all your symptoms?
