*Naturly i want kids what is the odds of me having a real love life with out worring if i gave my wife somthing after time of having sex?

* i keep seeing online where people had it for 5 + years and had a 100% turn down rate, is this coman for hsv2 or 1?

*and how is that i have to say somthing and thoes with oral hsv1 wich said to be around lower than 80% dont say nothing there whole life? i know i have dated at least one with a cold sore in there life.

you should be upfront and honest about it. If you know that your genital herpes is hsv1 then you need to say that. If you just say you have genital herpes and they say so do I and the discussion doesn't go any further than that then you can end up with hsv2 which most likely will result in an increase in recurrences for you.  You can't make educated decisions about what precautions to take in a relationship until you both know who has what so it's well worth being upfront about your genital herpes being hsv1. I assume you called the clinic and found out the results of your lesion culture that you said hsv1?

I've been turned down 2x in the 20+ years I've had hsv2. Most of my friends haven't even been turned down that often regardless if they have hsv1 or hsv2 genitally.   For most folks it's not an issue in their relationships.

You aren't likely to transmit hsv1 genitally to a partner even with unprotected sex. If your wife would have hsv1 orally, the risk of transmission is incredibly low.

why do you have to talk about your genital hsv1 when you know folks aren't talking about their oral hsv1 infections? Because you know what you have where and are educated about the risks and want to be honest with your partners.  You care about them and want them to know that you are concerned about them and aren't selfish that's why.  It's also a good opening to talking about what they've been tested for and when they were tested as well as condom use and birth control use.  It should all be part of your "talk" you have prior to sex with someone for your safety and theirs!  Depending on your age, depends on the rates of infection with hsv1. In your 20's, the rates of infection are closer to 30-40% than 80% so a good chunk of folks you know don't have hsv1 orally to protect them.  We don't reach 80% rates of infection with hsv1 in the US until you are collecting social security checks.

you go about it the same way as someone who doesn't have hsv2 for the  most part.   If you have an active herpes ob at the time of delivery, a c section is done.

have you ever read the herpes handbook yet? It's free to read online. just google it and it comes right up.
