ohh yeh is there creams i can get from the doc that will help me for down below,i never had them down below til recently n its cos of all the stress and drinking cos i have been going out drinking a fair bit lately and my job is exetremely stressful so i think its not helping my lesions.is there any company in the world trying to find a cure cos its like they dont worry about finding a cure for herpes as much as other viruses or diseases.
i hope to god they find a cure or vaccine so then no1 can catch this thing.its very contagious i have read and people can even catch it from sharing drinks etc.
how common is type 2?is it just as common or is it just type 1 that is common?
sorry for all the questions im just sooo down and out and need to know as much as possible.
thanks again

actually famvir is now a one day dose for ob's - 1gm 2x/day for 1 day. You will still have lesions but it does all it's going to do as far as speeding healing.

I'd just try things at this point like tub baths with epsom salts thrown in and if you still have lesions after 2 weeks, be seen  for a proper exam to see if it's more than just your herpes going on at the moment.  You'd need tested for bacterial and fungal infections vaginally when seen too since both can be an issue.

hope you are feeling better soon!
