+hsv 1&2igg

Test result I recieved today says I have hsv 1&2 IgG. The last time I had contact with a woman was 8 months ago. I do not have any break outs yet. Does it take this long for it to break out? Just confused and looking for information.

May be when I come to the States in about a month time I will do another test. The sample for this test was sent to India from my country. I would relax and do it later. Thanks again.

You need to confirm if this was a type specific test and need to see each number reading for both hsv1 and 2. As of now it says you have both. We dont use the igM for false positive readings but if your positive for both with the igG, i cant imagine the igm would be so low in the negitive.
Try to find out more specifics about the test you took and the individual numbers.

Thanks Life360. The test result only says POSITIVE AT ABOVE 30.0 for Hsv1&2Igg but negative for Hsv 1&2 IgM at .65

Hi, please post your test results so we can verify and issues. Most that do have outbreaks from a new infection have them within a week of contact.
