the way you initially posted it was fine actually .
you are negative for hsv2. equivocal is actually negative if enough time has passed. it's rarely actually positive. really no reason for any further testing from this encounter.

Grace....the final post was the correct information sorry for the multiple posts but I was trying to get all the info in there.
HSV Type 2 IgG Aby
HSV 2 IgG, Type Spec *0.96 (0.00-0.090), .....Positive would be >1.09.....Equivocal is 0.91-1.09 and negative is <0.91
HSV Type 2 IgG Aby
HSV 2 IgG, Type Spec *0.96 (0.00-0.090)
Negative 1.09
Why won't this show up properly?
HSV Type 2 IgG Aby
HSV 2 IgG, Type Spec *0.96 (0.00-0.090)
Negative 1.09
Sorry to keep reposting here is the corrected lab results the post keeps coming up weird
HSV Type 2 IgG Aby
HSV 2 IgG, Type Spec *0.96 (0.00-0.090)
Equivocal 0.91-1.09
Negative 1.09
Sorry those are the lab results the equivocal part did not show in the last post
Let me clarify the question so Grace knows what I am talking about. About 1 month ago I found out my ex was cheating on me. I do not know if he has any STD's. My last encounter with him was about 3 months ago. I go tested for everything, everything was normal except the HSV2 igg test. Here is exactly what the lab says:
HSV Type 2 IgG Aby
HSV 2 IgG, Type Spec *0.96 (0.00-0.090)
Negative 1.09
I fall under the Equivocal with 0.96. Does this mean I am positive? I have never had any signs no outbreaks etc. I had this testing down at a local urgent care center. They said equivocal could mean I could of had a past infection.
Grace can you please clarify? I have not slept all night, I have been looking all over the internet for answers and I keep ending back up at this website....PLEASE HELP
Give grace a chance to look at the post. She can provide you with further testing.
When was your last sexual encounter from the time of the test?
