hsv test results are different

Why would one test be high and then one lower I have never had any symptoms or outbreaks either
My first set of test for hsv 1 & 2 were
hsv 1 igg type specific  >5.00H
hsv 2 igg type specitc  >2.16
hsv 1 igm ifa  <1.20
hsv 2 igm ifa  5.00
hsv 2 igg type specific >1.34
hsv 1 igm ifa  <1.20
hsv 2 igm ifa  <1.20
Why would my hsv 1 stay the same
but my hsv 2 has a lower number this time
this is confusing to me that it would change that much
My doctor wants me to come back in 3 to 4 months to have another test done
because the numbers drop alot

I can,t type tonight
My first test(oct31) results were:
hsv 1 igg type specific  >5.00H
hsv 2 igg type specitc  >2.16
hsv 1 igm ifa  <1.20
hsv 2 igm ifa  5.00H
hsv 2 igg type specific >1.34
hsv 1 igm ifa  <1.20
hsv 2 igm ifa  <1.20
why would my second test have the same results for hsv1
but my hsv2 is lower??

your hsv2 igg is a low positive on both igg tests. If you've never had symptoms, it's best to confirm your status with a herpes western blot.

Results will vary somewhat from test to test and lab to lab.  typically positives always stay positive though. your results are in the low positive range and need confirmatory testing.
