Hi, In 2007 i was tested for herpes and the results came back negative. I was recenlty tested for herpes and my results came back positive. Im not sure what hsv titer means. Can you explain this? I can best help you if you get your test results and post them here. All I need to see are the actual numeric results - ie hsv2 igg 7.6 and hsv1 igg 3.4 or whatever they are.

what test was it igm or igg? because if it was an igm test your probably had a false positive result. and also if your positive on an igg type specific than you have herpes no test tells you that you've been exposed.
