hsv2 positive?

Thank you all for such a great site. During my time of confusion and fear, I was relieved to find such a supportive site like this available.

If I could ask for some help with my situation please.

I made a mistake by having a one night stand unprotected about 3 months ago. It was protected intercourse but I gave unprotected oral to her as well as rec'd a hand job after the intercourse without condom.

I started to feel slight burning and redness near the opening of my pens and noticed very small reddish bumps but with no puss and not blisterd. This was 2 months post encounter. My proctologist is saying it's a case of urithritis, but can't explain the reddish bumps.
Took a igg  hsv1  and hsv2  test herpeselect test with my primary doctor at month 2 which came back negative for hs1  and a 1.1 for hsv2. Due to the low titer, I took another igg for hsv2 a month later ( month 3) and it came back 1.7....which is still in the range of false positive from what I read.

Could it be 2 low false positives in a row or do I have hsv2?
thank you for any help or information.
.

Thank you Life for such a quick response and your valued feedback.
In your opinion then, it sounds like this exposure 3 months ago may not be the event when contracted, assuming it is positive. Perhaps an encounter prior to the one months ago.

I've read about the Western Blot but it appears it's difficult to get the test done by your primary doctor. Is doing it by mail the only way?

Again , thank you Life....gives me comfort being able to talk to somebody about this.

Hi, the handjob is not a herpes issue nor would having genital concerns be associated with  you giving her oral sex. That leaves us with the protected intercourse. First time outbreaks would be at point on contact like your pubic mound area so you can rule out contracting herpes on your shaft which was covered in explaining the red bumps.
Having 2 low positives for hsv2 with a negative hsv1 (ruling out cross-reactivity) could be a bid of a concern, i can only advise to test one more time and preferably the Western Blot.
Under normal advise, 2 positives would be considered conclusive if they did not fall into the false positive range.
