hsv2 sex in future

I have recently been diagnosed with hsv2. I positively acquired from my current partner, as she has tested positive too. Neither of us have any other std's. Is there any need for us to use condoms in the future?

You could have always given and recieved oral "without fear" in this relationship.

Once you have HSV1 or HSV2 established in one part of your body, it's next to impossible (if not actually impossible) to transmit to any other part of your body because you have built a defense against it.

Can I give and receive unprotected oral sex without fear? This is a male/female relationship.

Not with each other, no.

Rule out HIV infection (if you haven't already) and afterward, feel free to go to town.
