hump and cauliflower like growth inside urethra

i had a shiny hump on the left side of  my urethral lining, i visited my doctor about two months ago and he suggested that it was herpes ulcer and prescribed acyclovir cream. now its all reddish inside but the left hump has decreased in size j but the seam to be some fleshy stuff growing on the right side,  causes a tingly sensation and at time discomfort pain like i touched it with chillies on my fingers. i am confused , could this really be herpes or warts.

thanx a lot grace because thats what i was thinking, he didn't even do any tests he just wrote me that prescription and told  me that it cant be warts.im going to see another doctor and i will request to be tested. then do warts give a burning like sensation at times? and if its warts can i pass it to my partner if having unprotected sex and what about oral?

a lesion lesion will not stick around that long.

did you have any testing done?

this sounds far more like warts than herpes. return to your provider for proper evaluation though if who you were seeing prescribed the almost worthless acyclovir cream for genital herpes treatment and didn't do testing in the first place, I'd pick somewhere else to be seen because it sounds like this provider isn't very familiar with std's and treatment/diagnosis.
