i dont know if i have herpes

i dont know if i have herpes,i meet this girl and have a night stand with her but theres no sex happen its just a petting after she told me that she had admitted to the hospital because she was diagnos of herpes and she had taken the medication..is it possible that the virus was transmitted on me even she had taken the medication?i have a wife and i don't want to the virus to pass on her..please answer me what im going to do? please answer me soon//

Not very likely but then I don't know what your definition of petting is,there would have to be skin to skin contact with an active lesion such as vigorous rubbing type contact that could cause skin breakage on unprotected genitals.
