igg angm?

ive very recently been tested for HSV 1 and HSV 2 when i saw genital sores that looked like herpes symptoms. i had the tests done the same week of noticing these sores. i have not had a chance to visit my doctor to read my results for me. can you please tell me what these numbers mean?

HSV1: 46.13 au/ml  (0-20)  (IgM)
           0.53  (-)1   (Igg)

HSV2: 38.7 au/ml (0-20)  (IgM)
           0.62  (-)1 (Igg)

though the test may detect a recent infection, do i have HSV1, HSV2 or both?

Negative. However Igg tests cannot detect a recent infection. You need to have a repeat test 3-4 months after the symptoms first appeared.
