What is the likelihood that 4 years or less from now I will stop having herpes outbreaks.  Is herpes the sort of thing I can expect recurrences for the rest of my life.  If so,  1,2,10,20 + years from now what and how frequent should I expect outbreaks.  I'm a fairly healthy guy.  Give me some good news Doc.

Herpes outbreaks are different for everybody. Nobody can predict what your outbreak pattern will be now, 2 months from now, 4 years from now, or 20 years from now. Many people have less frequent outbreaks as time goes on, but everybody is different.

Take medication if you want fewer outbreaks.
