increasing numbers on test

So at 3 weeks my results were

HSV1 0.05
HSV2 0.45

And at 6 weeks they were

HSV1 0.20
HSV2 0.56

I am now waiting on the results for my 12 week test... Can the increase in these numbers signal a slow increase toward an eventual positive?  Is the change big enough to make anyone here think its heading that way?

They are both clear negatives and no need to worry at all about the differences in numbers. That is completely normal.

thanks grace.  i find the test confusing in that i dont get why any antibodies are present at all, why the number isn't just 0 for a negative, but anyway, thanks.

it's because of the way they perform the test that you never get a  0 as a result.

hey, my 12 week test is negative, but the lab didn't provide the actual numbers.

Anyway, how different is the reliability of results at 12 weeks compared to 16, because my doc says i dont need another test and doesnt wanna give me one.

You've had clear negatives all along. No reason to test again.
