HSV1, IgG <0.90 Index Ref: <.090
HSV1, IgM <.80 Index Ref < 0.80
HSV2, IgG <.90 Index Ref <0.90
HSV2, IgM 0.86 H Index Ref: <0.80 RPR (SERUM)
What does this indicate? I was told that the test shows that I was "possibly exposed to HSV 2, however the test is inconclusive unfortunately. The IgG lab test was normal. The IgM test (which was very minimally elevated) however is not as reliable and can be positive if you were recently exposed to this virus OR to a similar virus it can also cause a false positive."
There is 0% chance that I was infected w/in the last 10 months, so this result is very confusing. Could somebody please explain the possibility of this.
