jock itch or HSV2

I went to the Dr yesterday in regard to some small blisters on the head of my penis, Ive had jock itch before but was concerned because this time the blisters were only localized on the head of my (circumsized) penis and I had some swelling in my lymph nodes. Last month on October 21st, I had an STD/HIV test done and everything came back negative, everything including Herpes, Syphilus, HIV etc. When I had the test done it was after any 3month window period for anything i might have had.

The Dr's diagnosis was jock itch, but he said i would need to take another blood test to check for Herpes2 and Syphilus. He is the same Dr. who gave me the test in October, and said that taking this second test was just for precaution.

Im not too concerned about it being Syphilus since after reading and seeing pics of what that does, it doesnt seem like what i could have, and if it was to be Syphilus i could just take medicine and be cured. As much as I hope that it is jock itch/balinitis its seems like the signs/symptoms of the two are so similar that im worried that, what if it could be herpes... What im having going on are a few little, clear blisters on the head of my penis. They dont itch or burn, but i do feel a slight pain when touching them or if anything puts pressure on them. No penile discharge, no burning urine... and no other herpes symptoms i can think of....

Anyways, thanks a lot for reading. Any help and/or advice is greatly appreciated!!!

If you have not had sex since Oct when last tested  then it should not be herpes as you say you were negative then. If you had sex since then it could possibly be jock itch or herpes as you say. About the only thing you can do is wait for the test results.

Definitely let us know what you have going on there when the blood test comes back!!! I am real curious what these blisters could be! Did these blisters pop and leak fluid out and ulcerate and form a crust over it and scab over or did they just go away? Keep us advised please!!!! Very interesting what you have going on here...
