What else would cause ulcer type sores? I haven't had sex for years until I was married in March.
I was swabbed during my first outbreak 8 years ago.positive for hsv1. Last year I had outbreak, went to doc, she examined me, did blood test and was positive for genital hsv1. The current outbreak I can see some sores that look like ulcer type sores. A little discharge, not much.
One way is to confirm that you are having an outbreak, Maybe get it swabbed> thy most always breakout in the same spot give or take an inch, But having hsv1 would not have many outbreaks at all so i suspect they are not.
Thank you for responding...i was wondering because I've had crohns for 22 years and hsv1 genital for 8. I went for years without hardly any outbreaks and seems like last year and so far this year I've had more outbreaks. I just got married in March, my husband knows and he is negative for both hsv1/2. I had a outbreak the week before my wedding and I currently have one now. I admit planning a wedding was stressful, and I also just had a recent crohns flare March 24. I'm trying to figure if the outbreaks maybe due to these issues going on in my life. I also started going to a chiropractor and seeing that he adjusts my lower back, could that cause an outbreak. I guess I'm looking for answers that no body really knows???? It gets very frustrating! Thanks for your time on here...
Crohns is a digestive disorder where the immue system targets good cells with no known cause. Its basicly termed a malfunctioning immune system and maybe inhereted.
Stress can trigger outbreaks so i guess if a person is stress over this it may lead to an outbreaks. But this is only theory. The disease itself would not. Its specific to digestion.
Hi life 360... are you familiar with crohns disease? If so was wondering could a flare cause genital hsv1 outbreaks?
Hi, and yes as the virus is in the genital area not oral.
