little worried

iam a sexually actave 17 yo girl  i have never had unprotected sex  and havent had any sexual contact in about two months. a few days ago i noticed an open sore on my clitors  i had been camping for the last few days  and shareing a tent with someone so i hadnt had a chance to look at myself in a few days being that i was never alone so im unsure how long it has been there. i have no other symptoms no itching burning other bumps redness nothing and i think i may have inadvertantly done it myself just before we went camping i got a little carried away one night. but that dosent do anythign to quell my worries i was just wondering if anyone else has a clue as to what it could be and if not how i could heal it im worried abtou useing any kind of antibiotic ointent on that region

well see thats the thing it isnt a round bump like you get form ingrown hairs or like everyone else is talking about its more of a scrape it almost looks like road rash and its not deep enough to draw blood or puss or anything its just a few layers of skin missing it dosent hurt so to speak only when your rough with it im still going to get checked otu because im going to be starting a birth conntrol regiment soon i am just starting to think it isnt likely herpes i also still have no other symptoms what so ever or other things that look like they could become lesions

I wouldn't use the antibiotic ointment on your genitals, and you should really get this checked out.

It could be an infected hair follicle, herpes, syphilis, or irritation.
