?misdiagnosis?

my doctor told me that i have hsv type 1 in the genital area and I also had a yeast infection. how likely is it that it was just a bump from the yeast and not hsv-1 p.s. the  bump looked like a hair bump and I was also on my period and had a serve yeast infection when tested. it also didnt look like a blister just a bump. should I be retested or just go with the results?

if you had a lesion culture then indeed you do have genital herpes and no reason to doubt your diagnosis.

have you read the free herpes handbook at all yet to learn more about hsv1 genitally?

do you have a regular partner? if so, have they been tested for herpes yet to know their own status?
